The Kadar Group began operations in 2001 and provides product, services and account representation to vendors dealing in the Insurance and Financial Services markets.

The Principal: David B. Kadar, Managing Principal
David B. Kadar has over 25 years of successful vendor representation and selling experience in the highly competitive Financial Services and Information Technology sectors. His focus for the last eight years has been on the highly competitive Property & Casualty market and Legal Services industry. Mr. Kadar and his partners possess solid experience in selling to business functional areas as well as to the IT groups of major organizations. He has considerable expertise in the areas of software, integrated solutions and outsourcing services. Mr. Kadar is recognized for his ability to resolve complex requirements with creative solutions, while establishing a consistent record of increasing sales and exceeding goals.

Barb Smith
Barb Smith is responsible for scheduling and researching many of the client appointments for The Kadar Group. Barb has extensive experience in sales and marketing having worked for seven years at KPMG. There Barb held a variety of management positions supervising Practice Development coordinators for KPMG’s Tax, Assurance and Financial Planning partners and managers. Prior to her experience with KPMG, Barb worked much of her earlier career at Lincoln National Life in Fort Wayne, IN. Barb held several senior management positions in the Accounting and Client Services areas. Barb is active in her community serving the PTA Board of Managers in both elected and appointed positions. Barb and her husband, Bruce have 2 grown children, Zachary, 22 and Amanda, 21.
Joe Scarcella
Joe Scarcella serves as a Director for The Kadar Group in an advisory, research and marketing capacity. Joe is also responsible for planning and strategic vision for the customers of TKG’s clients. Joe has a significant experience in executive management having worked most of his career for Fortune 500 companies. Most recently Joe was affiliated with KPMG in a Business Development role generating large consulting engagements. Joe also has extensive experience in managing large scale IT projects with his former employers General Electric and CGI. Joe is married to Linda with three grown children and enjoys riding his Harley Roadster as a stress buster.

In almost 3 years of representative engagement, the Kadar Group has helped to close over $7,000,000 in aggregate sales.

Recently, we successfully brought together two vendors to collaborate to address the rating needs of small to mid-sized insurance carriers. The companies agreed to combine efforts to bring a tools-based configurable architecture to this underserved market.
